It's Summer time!

The first day of summer calls for brunch at Yolk in my favorite city, with my mom, eating fruit out of a pineapple. I found this beauty when looking at a friends Facebook pictures. Of course I had to ask her where she got it, and go try it the next day! On the menu it is called the south beach and it is to die for! Half of a pineapple stuffed with greek yogurt, Yolk's house-made granola, strawberries, pineapple, and walnuts. It also came with a freshly in-house baked muffin, so good! I am a sucker for anything fruit and yogurt so this was a must! My mom got the Pot Roast Benedict, and if you are more of the savory breakfast type, this is the breakfast for you. It was so good and filling that it is hard to pass up. It is a english muffin topped with a heap of pot roast and finished off with two poached eggs. It melts in your mouth and it is oh so good!
