Bang Bang!

I visited some friends in college during their finals week to save them from the stress for a little bit and give them a study break. What better way to take a break than eat pie?! I have been wanting to go to Bang Bang Pie and Biscuits for a while now and I am so happy that I did. This cute little pie shop is located in Logan Square on a cute little block full of interesting places. The atmosphere of this shop is so welcoming and the people that work there were so sweet! The menu is full of sweet and savory choices. There were 6 pies on the menu along with a special of the day and also biscuits in case you wanted a savory snack instead of pie. I ordered the special of the day which was banana pie with a dark chocolate ganache on top. I went with a group of about 6 girls and we all got different kinds. Pictured is the malted milk chocolate pie on the left and the chocolate peanut butter pie on the right. I tried both and they were amazing. I did not try one kind of pie that I did not like. My favorite pie was definitely the chocolate peanut butter. I am addicted to peanut butter and chocolate so this pie was right up my ally. I decided to go with the banana because it was the special and I also love bananas. I highly recommend Bang Bang Pie and Biscuits for all you pie lovers out there!
