Death by Le Chocolat

If you have a major sweet tooth like I do then Le Chocolate Du Bouchard in Downtown Naperville will leave you breathless...and full! The menu includes lattes, mochas, hot chocolate, cocktails, cakes, brownies, pastries, cookies, EVERYTHING CHOCOLATE! Pictured on the left is the brownie, on the top is the Chocolate Mousse Cake and on the bottom is the Six Layer Tower Carrot Cake. The Chocolate Mousse Cake is their dark chocolate cake layered with mousse creme filling and topped with their hot chocolate sauce! It was so decadent and it melted in your mouth right away. It was amazing when paired with a cappuccino, so good that the leftovers may be eaten for breakfast tomorrow with another coffee!! Who said you can't have dessert for breakfast? The carrot cake was to die for also...as my boyfriend's mom always says, carrots are vegetables and carrots are in the cake therefore this is salad! So indulge in it all you want! I also ordered the Cocoaccino which is a cappuccino with Belgian and Swiss chocolate syrup. Let's just say I died and went to chocolate heaven. If you are not looking to sit down and eat, there are loads of chocolates to shop for and take home! There is every kind of chocolate you can imagine ranging from truffles to malt balls to chocolate bark to caramel clusters...anything chocolate that you want, they probably have it! The atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming and the shop is so cute with Paris inspired decorations! This is the perfect place for a drink and cake with girlfriends or just to shop around for some chocolates to take home to the family! Chocoholics, this one is for you!
